How to book a trip on New Horizons

Booking information for 2025

Review our on-line availability calendar to see if the date you require is likely to be available. If it is, telephone to book, or complete the booking form at the bottom of this page and we will send you further instructions by email. The Facebook page is monitored and we will respond to enquiries via Messenger.  Please do not use texts for bookings. 

To confirm your booking, payment of the full amount must be made on receipt of the invoice. Please contact our booking officer on one of the numbers below for details of how to pay.

Booking Office Hours

  • MONDAY to SATURDAY:  8.30am to 6pm, SUNDAY - CLOSED

Dates will be confirmed by the Booking Officer,  Full payment is required prior to the trip.   Payment details with an online link / BACS information will be sent out in good time.  Payment arrangements for trips booked at very short notice will be made by the Booking Officer. Should you make a cancellation with less than 14 days notice refunds are at the discretion of the Trustees. 

Guide to charges for 2025

The Trust is an independent registered charity (No.1075844) and wishes to avoid levying a fixed hire charge. However, it relies heavily on the generosity of the users to contribute towards the substantial running costs of the boat. A guide to the expected donation per group is:-

The Trust booking team is manned by volunteers, if you do not get an immediate response please leave a message or send an email with giving the information requested below.   Payment can be made via 'Square our online payment system, Faster Payment / Bank Transfer or Cheque.   Reminders for payment will be sent out please ensure full payment is made  in advance of the trip. Please see the Booking Terms and Conditions for details. Under normal circumstances payment cannot be accepted by the Skipper.

The Trust reserves the right to cancel trips if the boat is regarded as unserviceable at any time. The Trust cannot be responsible for delays caused by water shortages, stoppages, canal traffic conditions, mechanical breakdown, or any other cause.
